It seems that 2013 will have a decidedly nautical feel for Catherine Wheels. We wil be starting the year off with a new show called Stuck. Created and performed by Catherine Wheels’ artistic director, Gill Robertson, Stuck will be performed in primary schools, on a boat. The play tells the story of a sister and a brother (played by Michael Sherin) who find themsleves stuck on a boat.
In the autumn we will be setting sail with one of our most popular plays for families and everyone over ten, Lifeboat by Nicola McCartney. Based on an incredible true story, Lifeboat is a World War II drama about friendship and courage. Winner of the TMA Award for best new show for children and young people, Lifeboat has delighted audiences throughout the world, from New York to the Sydney Opera House.
