Excitement ahead...

We’ve had a quiet couple of months on the production front since Stuck closed, but behind the scenes we’ve been working hard on the excitement that lies ahead.

First off we’re producing Shona Reppe’s new show, HUFF. In a totally new way of working for Shona, HUFF will be a ‘walk-through experience’ inspired by the Three Little Pigs. There are so many brilliant things about this project. Shona will be working with Andy Manley again, following their successes on the worldwide hits Potato Needs a Bath and White. In another exciting development, HUFF is being presented in partnership with the National Galleries of Scotland and will be performed at the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art. Find out more by visiting the National Galleries of Scotland Website

Hot on the heels of HUFF, we are delighted to be reviving our award-winnning World War II drama, Lifeboat. Based on the extraordinary true story of two evacuees, Lifeboat has delighted audiences throughout the UK, Australia, New Zealand and North America. We’re very proud that on Friday 27th September at the Brunton we will present the 300th performance of our production this fantastic play by Nicola McCartney.

In October, White hits the road again. After a quick visit to the Adam Smith in Fife, White features at the De Betovering Festival in The Netherlands and then on to a five week tour of France before returning to the Southbank Centre in London for a second Christmas run. White opens at the Southbank Centre on December 18th and tickets are now available on the Southbank Centre website.

More White news, we are currently working with the creators of the gorgeous HippoSeasons App, Hippotrix, to make an app for White. The app will be a beautiful and fun game for the very young, based on the wonderful world of White. Hippotrix made a great film about the development stages of the app, which you can watch on the Hippotrix Website.

So, plenty of excitement ahead and we’ve got even more planned for 2014…
