Catherine Wheels are delighted at the news that Kes has been nominated for a Critics’ Award for Theatre in Scotland (CATS) in the category of ‘Best Production for Children and Young People’.
Also nominated isThe Curious Scrapbook of Josephine Bean (Shona Reppe Puppets), Tall Tales for Small People (National Theatre of Scotland and Communicado) and Too Many Penguins (Frozen Charlotte and the MacRobert, Stirling).
Of the 202 productions considered for nomination, 36 were created for children and young people.
While we await the outcome, we have been keeping ourselves busy. White is moving from Bath to Leeds this weekend and those of us back home have been thoroughly enjoying the Imaginate Festival, international theatre right on our doorstep.
