Little Gentleman Hits the Road

February has got off to a busy start at Catherine Wheels HQ. This week saw our show, The Story of the Little Gentleman open to a pleasingly vocal audience at Corstorphine Primary School. It’s a playful and highly visual play, with lots of physical storytelling from Pete Collins, as the Gentlemen and Isabelle Joss as his new friend, the dog. The team were delighted to get such a brilliant, engaged response from the pupils at Corstorphine Primary as the show is set to embark upon an extensive tour of Scottish and English schools throughout the Spring.

We were also excited to be at the launch of the 28th Edinburgh Science Festival on Tuesday. Our brand new piece, Lost at Sea, will premiere at this year’s festival as part of the Science in the Spotlight programme. The show will offer the audience an immersive experience as it follows the journey of a boy and girl as they attempt to understand the mysteries of the sea and learn of its impact upon the Earth.

It will play at Summerhall from 5-7 April and tickets are available at the Science Festival website.
