We’ve just returned from a fantastic weekend at the Danish Teater Centrum Festival, a festival jam-packed with theatre and dance shows for children and young people. There was inspiring storytelling, beautiful dance pieces, ingenious sets, and the unique experience of lying in a hammock underneath a canopy of moving images while being told a bedtime story. We were charmed by Denmark and the welcoming Danes.
This weekend we also received the wonderful news that White has been nominated for a Broadway Drama Desk award, for Unique Theatrical Experience. The New Victory Theatre, New York’s theatre for children and young people, where we performed White last autumn, has also been given a special Honour award. Full info here.
